The timer
How do I set how long a sound plays?
Tap the duration chip and pick a duration, or set your own on the wheel. Endless (∞) plays until you stop it. The time left shows in the mini player, on the lock screen and in the Home Screen widget.
What happens when the time runs out?
The sound fades out and stops, or, if you chose the alarm, an alarm rings. You can turn the fade off in Settings.
What if my headphones disconnect?
The sound pauses, as it does in every audio app, but the countdown keeps going, so a session you set for 30 minutes still ends 30 minutes after you started it. If you pause it yourself, the countdown pauses too.
Does the timer keep running with the screen locked?
Yes. Playback and the countdown carry on in the background and with the phone locked.
Sounds and offline
Can I listen without a connection?
Yes. Tap the download button on a sound and it plays with no network at all. Sounds you have played before are also kept on your phone.
Do the sounds loop?
Recorded sounds are edited to loop without a click or a jump. Generated sounds are made live on your phone and never repeat.
Privacy
Does the app collect my data?
There is no account and no sign-in. The app sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, which you can switch off in Profile → Share usage & crash data. The full details are in the privacy policy.
